- The Ukrainian's next record is a bluesy homage to the late frontman of The Doors.
Vakula has released initial details of his next LP, Dedicated To Jim Morrison.
The 11-track record pays homage to The Doors frontman, who died in Paris in 1971, aged 27. Snippets surfaced on SoundCloud this morning (see below), followed by a tracklist on Vakula's Facebook page. It will come out on the Ukrainian's own label, Leleka, though due to delays at the pressing plant no release date has been set. "I hope it will be in summer time," Vakula told RA over email earlier today. "Jim Morrison Memorial Day, but possibly earlier."
