- Universes, which features Julio Bashmore and Kutmah, will come out this July through Ninja Tune.
Seven Davis Jr will release the Universes LP via Ninja Tune on July 24th.
The Los Angeles-based vocalist and producer signed to Ninja Tune back in January, releasing the Wild Hearts EP through the label the following month. Davis Jr, who has undertaken a busy touring schedule since emerging onto the underground dance scene, says the new album dwells on themes of freedom, integrity and self-improvement. He says the record is about "finding your place. Knowing yourself. Being where you belong." Universes features collaborations with Boardwalk Records boss Julio Bashmore, fLako and Kutmah, who released Seven Davis's The Lost Tapes Vol. 1 on his own IZWID Records.
