- The esteemed duo will release Safe In Harbour in June.
Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer have an album coming out on Perlon under the name Vilod.
The album is called Safe In Harbour and it'll land on June 15th. Its seven tracks will be spread across two 12-inches, with a CD version also in the works. Villalobos and Loderbauer have worked together before—their most notable collaborations have been remixes, such as 2011's ambitious Re: ECM compilation. This is the first time they've released original music as Vilod. Perlon isn't giving too much away about the album's style or sound, but distributor Wordandsound says Safe In Harbour features "sensual syncopation and eruptive bass energy."
