Michael Mayer and DJ Tennis will join the Bulgarian producer on the bill this Saturday.
KiNK will headline the 18th instalment of HAÏKU, taking place in a warehouse in the north of Paris on Saturday, April 25th.
Introduced via a video published on YouTube in February, Cyrillic is KiNK's new project. Presented as a hybrid between live performance and DJing, the producer explained his process this way: "I'm recording basic loops with melodies from my modular synthesiser. I play back the sounds, using a standard DJ setup. I then create the beats live with Roland TR-8, all beatmatched by ear."
After a few weeks of rehearsal, KiNK will premiere his Cyrillic show this weekend in Paris. He'll be joined on the bill by two respected label heads—Kompakt's Michael Mayer and Life & Death's DJ Tennis. Doors will run from 11 PM to 6 AM.
