- The Japanese producer has a 70-minute cassette coming up on the Vancouver tape label.
Keita Sano will drop his first release for 1080p Collection on May 5th.
You might recognize Sano from a 12-inch on Mister Saturday Night in 2014, or his appearance on that label's Brothers & Sisters compilation the same year. The Okayama-based artist has also released records for Strictly Groove and Discos Capablanca, and now he's moving onto Vancouver's 1080p for his latest missive, Holding New Cards.
The label calls Sano's 70-minute cassette "broad and weird cross-terrain hybrid house and techno" with an emphasis on noisy textures and a freeform sensibility inspired by his love for jazz. You can stream and download the "Think" break-heavy "Onion Slice" over at FACT.
