  • Vancouver crew UnderG are starting a new night called Still Waters Run Deep on April 25th. UnderG, which was once an underground venue in downtown Vancouver, have been throwing house and techno afterparties around the city for years. Still Waters Run Deep is their latest endeavour, meant to highlight their interest in minimal techno and other "underrated styles" that they feel are lacking a good home in the city. The first event, happening at a secret location next Saturday, features Romanian producer Nu Zau, a contemporary of artists like Petre Inspirescu and Rhadoo who has released on Fear Of Flying, Archipel and Fizical in the last few years. He'll be supported by a back-to-back-to-back set from UnderG regulars Matt Hudolin, Kevin Kao and Briser Gonzalez under his MNML ANML alias. Nu Zau will also be making an appearance in Montreal the evening before, playing over at StereoBar. Check out a recent podcast below.
