Bears In Space returns with Eric Duncan

- The Silver Lake gay party will host the edit maestro in May.
- Bears In Space will host New York DJ and producer Eric Duncan at Akbar on Sunday May 17th. With DJ Harvey's sunny legacy looming large, jocks like Thomas Bullock, Justin Vandervolgen and Eric Duncan regularly travel to LA to play underground parties, often presented by Sarcastic, the clothing company and promoter co-presenting this particular event. Not coincidentally, Sarcastic was responsible for introducing Duncan to Thomas Bullock. They would go on to form the party-starting DJ and remix duo (and RA Podcast alumni) Rub N Tug. As of late, Duncan's been releasing original material via Golf Channel while pumping out unofficial edits on a number of labels and hosting an occasional web radio show on Know Wave. The Bears In Space party is hosted by Chris Bowen, who will share opening duties with fellow resident Victor Rodriguez. The day-into-night party takes place at Silver Lake gay hotspot Akbar, and the aforementioned Harvey recently dropped in on Bears In Space for a surprise set.
