  • Nicolas Jaar will plays back-to-back gigs in Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara starting April 23rd. It's been an eventful year for the young producer, DJ and label boss. He announced the dissolution of his two-piece DARKSIDE project, released a wide-reaching compilation on his own Other People label and shared an alternative film score for the avant-garde cult classic The Color Of Pomegrantes. Later this month he will head out for a brief tour of Mexico, starting with an early evening gig at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, where he'll play alongside the Tijuana-based trio Los Macuanos as well as Mexico City's DJ Smurphy (listen to her recent debut album, #GEMINISS below). The same lineup will head to Mexico City the following night, where they'll perform at the 360e Venue for Warp Magazine's nine-year anniversary party. They'll wrap up the string of concerts in Guadalajara on the 25th at the warehouse venue Pabellón A.
