Metro and Smart Bar host Heroes Of House in Chicago

- This Friday's event has Phuture and DJ Sneak, among others, on the lineup.
- Chicago's Metro and Smart Bar will host a multi-room party this Friday called Heroes Of House. The two venues, located under the same roof, occasionally team up for joint events that allow mingling between rooms (Metro otherwise focuses on booking rock acts). As the name suggests, this one will feature a who's-who of Chicago house talent. Upstairs in Metro, DJ Sneak and Mark Farina will take to the decks, along with longtime Smart Bar resident Derrick Carter. Meanwhile, downstairs in Smart Bar itself, acid house originators Phuture, nowadays the duo of Earl "Spanky" Smith and DJ Pierre, are atop the bill. Pierre is also booked for his own set, and support will come from club residents Michael Serafini and Garrett David.
