  • Biosphere will reissue Microgravity via his own Biophon imprint on June 23rd. The Norwegian ambient veteran Geir Jenssen first sent Microgravity to Nettwerk subsidiary SSR, who dismissed the full-length as unmarketable. After releasing the album on Norway's Origo Sound, Apollo gave it a wide release and jump-started his 20-plus year career at the forefront of ambient electronics. Microgravity followed Jenssen's work with the group Bel Canto, and retained rhythmic structures largely absent in later works, such as his 1997's classic Substrata. Earlier this year, Janssen launched a successful Kickstarter campaign which will see his first solo LP reissued on triple-vinyl, CD and digital. The new version also includes seven unreleased tracks recorded between 1990 and 1991. Stefan Betke, AKA Pole, remastered the album. Tracklist 01. Microgravity 02. Baby Satellite 03. Tranquilizer 04. The Fairy Tale 05. Cloudwalker II 06. Chromosphere 07. Cygnus-A 08. Baby Interphase 09. Biosphere II 10. Search 11. Avenue 2.3 12. Clovis 13. Coulee 14. Ectozone 15. Dewy Fields 16. Eternal Biophon will reissue Microgravity on June 23rd, 2015.
