- The UK producer will release the Tied EP in May ahead of his debut album.
Citizenn has joined the Crosstown Rebels roster with a new EP due out on May 18th.
London artist Laurence Blake—now sporting an extra "n" in his alias—came up in the last few years over a series of house EPs for labels like Madtech, W&O Street Tracks and 20:20 Vision. He's been working on his debut album, and the Tied EP is the first taste, as well as his debut release for Crosstown Rebels. The label says that "Tied" is a "trip into house's classic years," and it features vocals from Aisha. The EP is rounded off with another new track, "Together (As A People)" as well as a handful of remixes of "Tied" from Adesse Versions, Denney and veteran duo Murk.
The forthcoming album, The Human Interface, will land about a month later on June 15th. It reportedly focuses on "the coexistence between humanity and machinery," but that's all we know about it so far. You can check out "Tied" below.
