CHIDA will be playing shows in Melbourne and Adelaide this weekend.
The DJ has been a cornerstone of Tokyo's underground house, disco and Balearic scene for around two decades, although his Ene imprint, which has released records from locals like Cro-Magnon, Cos/Mes and 9dw as well as international peers Eric Duncan, Beppe Loda and Tiago, has helped his reputation spread beyond Japan. After making his Australian debut around New Year's 2013, CHIDA will be back to play two shows over Easter, starting out with an Animals Dancing party at The Mercat Basement on April 2nd with support from Andee Frost and Otologic's Tom Moore. His second set will be at Sugar in Adelaide on April 4th, where he'll be joined by Inkswel and Driller from 9 PM.
