  • Sub Club will launch a new pop-up venue on Friday, March 27th called Sub Hub. The space, which will remain open until April 26th, is located in Glasgow's city centre, not far from the basement club. Equipped with its own radio studio, cinema, lecture theatre and gallery, a series of interviews, film screenings and performances have been scheduled across the month. For the opening weekend, Harri & Domenic, Sensu and Stay Fresh will all play on Friday night, before Andrew Weatherall swings by for a chat on Saturday. Derrick May will then present a screening of iconic techno film High Tech Soul: The Creation Of Techno Music on Sunday night. Looking further ahead, on March 31st dance music journalist Stuart Cosgrave will launch his new book, Detroit 67: The Year That Changed Soul, accompanied by a soul set from Harri. And on April 18th, in conjunction with Record Store Day, there'll be "dozens of vinyl vendors, DJ sets, food" and an appearance from Henrik Schwarz.
