Daniele Baldelli plays two California dates in April

- The cosmic disco innovator will link up with Sarcastic and Honey Soundsystem.
- Daniele Baldelli will play in San Francisco and Coachella starting on April 10th. The Italian jock got his start playing music for people in 1969 before the DJ mixer was even invented. About ten years later, his stint at the COSMIC club began and his worldly approach to mixing, involving African music, Krautrock and slowing down all manner of rock and soul records, would go on to have an indelible effect on the anything goes style of record heads like DJ Harvey. While Harvey's on the Coachella stage for the second year in a row, Sarcastic, the clothing company and party responsible for a string of memorable LA undergrounds with the Venice-dwelling UK expat, will bring Baldelli in for a post-festival afterparty. And the night before, the Balearic veteran is at Mighty for Face with the Honey Soundsystem boys. All of the Honey residents, including Jason Kendig and Josh Cheon, are on for support. The Japanese label Endless Flight released a new EP from Baldelli last year.
