Jeff Mills will perform live with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Hall on Saturday, October 24th.
The performance, titled Light From The Outside World, will see Mills recreate classic tracks like "The Bells" with an orchestral accompaniment. It's a concept he's toyed with before—in 2014 he teamed up with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for a Light From The Outside World show as part of the Melbourne Festival, while back in 2005 he collaborated with the Montpelier Philharmonic Orchestra on Blue Potential. The conductor who worked with Mills in Melbourne, Christophe Mangou, will join the Detroit artist on stage at the Barbican Hall. Tickets go on sale to Barbican members at 10 AM GMT on Thursday, March 26th, and on general sale at 10 AM the following day.
