  • Tokyo venue Womb will celebrate its 15th birthday on April 11th. The 1000-capacity, four-floor club first opened its doors in Shibuya back in 2000 and has since been a regular destination for high-profile touring DJs like Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz, Sven Väth and Ben Klock. Prior to 2014, the venue also hosted its Womb Adventure festival for six consecutive years which attracted up to 10,000 people annually and saw Richie Hawtin bring his Enter. party to Japan for the first time. For the 15th anniversary celebrations, Womb will focus on locak talent, with more than two dozen residents playing across multiple rooms. While the main floor will be presenting more EDM flavours, the Middle Lounge will focus on techno with DJ Sodeyama, DJ PI-GE, Kikiorix and Satoshi Otsuki all included on the bill.
