  • Low Jack has an album called Sewing Machine coming out through In Paradisum in May. This year has already seen the French producer, real name Philippe Hallais, issue an LP by Black Zone Myth Chant on his new Editions Gravats label. Hallais's next record will come out through In Paradisum, a label he's appeared on a couple of times already (on 2013's Flashes 12-inch and a split record with Qoso called Like It Soft.) In Paradisum describes Sewing Machine as "fast, noisy and rash." It promises to be a more dance floor-focused affair than the debut Low Jack album, Garifuna Variations, which came out on L.I.E.S. in 2014 and was inspired by sound recordings of the Garifuna people of Honduras kept at Paris's Quai Branly Museum. Tracklist 01. Loom 02. Fubu Knight 03. Pocket Pussy 04. Zaltan's Jackets 05. Body Control 06. Lube Money 07. Sweatpants Chick 08. Fruit In Paradisum will release Sewing Machine in May 2015.
