  • Bau, a new Leipzig label run by OneTake, will be putting out a record next week featuring the rare Lynx track "Call..." Lynx was a production alias of Gunnar Heuschkel, the mind behind the long-running record manufacturing firm R.A.N.D. Muzik. (Not to be confused with the UK drum & bass artist who also goes by Lynx.) Heuschkel released just a few Lynx tracks, including the ten minute-long "Call..." which first appeared on the R.A.N.D. Muzik subsidiary Science City in 1996, and was issued again in 2000 (augmented by a Jan Jelinek remix) on Out To Lunch. These days the sprawling, atmospheric electro track is almost impossible to find on wax. The new record will come with an unreleased Lynx cut, "High Rise," which has been edited by Kassem Mosse. (Mosse released an EP of Simone White reworks a couple months ago, which earned an RA Recommends nod.) Listen to the EP below.
