Petre Inspirescu to play five North American dates

- The Romanian favorite's next trip across the pond starts this Friday in Chicago.
- Romanian DJ and [a:rpia:r] co-founder Petre Inspirescu will play five dates around the eastern half of the US and Canada beginning this weekend. Inspirescu has been stateside a handful of times, notching multiple bookings in Miami and New York. This time around, the Romanian, who recently released a Raresh remix package via [a:rpia:r], will hit those hotspots and play some North American cities for the first time. On Friday, he'll make his Chicago debut with an extended set at Spybar (with the Tied crew supporting) and on Sunday he's at the Plateau Boogie party in Montreal—another local debut—with scene veterans Akufen and Vincent Lemieux on support. Next Thursday sees Inspirescu hitting Miami during WMC—Link Miami Rebels have him booked as part of a two-room event at Trade, where tINI, Mathew Jonson, Bill Patrick and Francesco Del Garda are also scheduled to appear. On Friday, he'll travel to Toronto for a party with Hypnotic Mindscapes and ReSolute at Wrongbar before heading to New York for the all-night ReSolute underground. Lemieux, Del Garda and Berlin-based DJ Vlada complete that lineup. Tickets to all five of Inspirescu's gigs—Chicago, Montreal, Miami, Toronto and New York—are available on RA.
