  • Octave One have revealed details of a new album called Burn It Down, out May 26th via their own 430 West label. The 11-track LP aims to bottle the energy of Lenny Burden and Lawrence Burden's hardware-focused live shows. It comes seven years on from the Detroit duo's most recent album, Summer On Jupiter. They say: "As individuals and as musicians we have grown with time and through our travels. Our music reflects that. Our work this time around has taken a lot longer to produce, but we feel it represents, more than anything else we have done to this point, our complete idea as an album project." It features guest appearances from Afrika Pratt-Ansa, Ann Saunderson and Random Noise Generation. Octave One also have a run of live dates in the pipeline. First up is Tresor in Berlin on March 21st, followed by ten more shows across Europe and the UK, before they return home for a performance at Stage One Festival in Brooklyn on September 19th.
