- Egyptrixx, Prurient and Tessela join the Brooklyn series' March and April bills.
The Tinnitus Music Series has announced two upcoming shows—March 27th and April 18th—at the Wick in Brooklyn.
The event series, which "focuses on composers of extreme sound," is presented by local promoters Blackened Music in partnership with Pitchfork's Show No Mercy column. Since launching in October of last year, they've welcomed guests such as Ben Frost, Container, Julianna Barwick and Tim Hecker to the Wick.
In March, Tinnitus will host a DJ set from Tessela as well as live sets from Egyptrixx and Untold. The latter's Doff / Phive 12-inch inaugurated his own new Hemlock Black sublabel earlier this year. The April show will be headlined by Prurient, acting as the release show for his forthcoming album on Profound Lore. Andy Stott and Sannhet round out that bill.
