  • Erol Alkan will spend most of April zig-zagging around the US and Canada. The illustrious DJ, remixer and label head hasn't been over to the US since summer 2012. In the meantime he's compiled a Fabriclive CD, helped launch the production career of Daniel Avery and released his first solo EP. His schedule begins in New York on April 9th, when Alkan will headline Verboten. From there, he heads down to Indio for the first of two Coachella sets—the first is on April 10th and the second is on April 17th. In between those two Coachella appearances, he's booked at Lights Down Low in San Francisco and the newly-christened MIA club in Vancouver. And, finally, he'll wrap it all up with a SAFE night at The Electric Pickle in Miami on the 18th. To get yourself in the mood, check out an excerpt from an Erol Alkan set at fabric below.
