  • 1) 01.feb.2003 - Together At Home – Together at Home this week showcases some of Sydney’s best DJ’s all in the surrounds of the massive multi-room, multi-fun club. The main attraction this week would have to be the talents of Ben Korbel and Trent Anthony back to back. If you have seen either of these guys individually you will know the talents that they possess. Both Ben and Trent have an unmistakeable ear for classic records, the power to build a set with perfect direction, and mixing abilities that are technically brilliant. But when they get together that just seem to work off each other creating sets that are remembered long after the last record has finished playing. Also playing in the main room will be Alex Taylor and Jason Bye. Miss this at your own peril.more 2) 31.jan.2003 - Misstress BarbaraMisstress Barbara has been making quite a name for herself. She is one of the biggest female DJ’s in the world at the moment and for good reason. She likes to describe her style as "drummy funky pumpin' techno" and will fit in perfectly at Tech-ni-kal. In the laundry she will be backed by backed up by Biz E and Fax,a nd playing in the cave makin’ a racket are Jimmi James vs Ken Cloud, and Simon Caldwell vs Zootie. A brillant way to spend your Friday night. more 3) 31.Jan.2003 - Ian PooleyIan Pooley has been coming to our shores rather frequently of late. Cutting up disco house and Chicago trax, New York wild pitch and Detroit techno, Ian covers the whole musical spectrum in his sets, and can adapt to purist house clubs and techno nights alike. This weekend he will be playing at Gas accompanied by Mark Walton, Alex Taylor & Jules Beaumont. more 4) 01.feb.2003 - Jazzanova - One of the big events of summer every year is Vibes on a Summers Day. One of the big acts to play the event was Jazzanova. Jazzanova has developed a percussion-oriented, sophisticated, clean and warm broken-beat-style that is constantly changing in form and allows no pigeonholing. So if you were impressed by the set at Vibes or are just interested in having a first time look, head down to Arthouse this Saturday night. more 5) 1.feb.2003 - Muzikal Kloudz 5 - MK5 – Muzikal Kloudz is a huge rave in every sense of the word.
