  • Walls will release their third (and last) LP on May 4th. Urals follows 2011's Coracle and 2010's self-titled album, and it's the final part of Sam Willis' and Alessio Natalizia's core trilogy. The duo call the record "an accumulation of four years of studio exploration," and it signals a continued move into territory more influenced by krautrock and kosmische. This final LP also sees them leave Kompakt for their own Ecstatic imprint, which they set up back in 2013. The imprint has since released music from both members' solo projects—Primitive World and Not waving—as well as the likes of Axel Willner and Pye Corner Audio. It was also the home of the duo's special collaboration with the late Daphne Oram, Sound Houses, which came out last year. Check out our interview with Willis and Natalizia about the Oram project here. Tracklist 01. Urals 02. Moon Eye 03. Altai 04. Voluta 05. Tongue Pad 06. I Can’t Give You Anything But Love 07. Radiance Ecstatic will release Urals on May 5th, 2015.
