- Novation's Launchpad for iPad features an array of effects that can be purchased from within the app.
Novation has updated their Launchpad iPad app.
The touchscreen component of Novation's ever-expanding Launchpad line of Ableton-centric controllers will remain free. But it's getting a bevy of new effects, dubbed Performance FX, which will be offered as in-app purchases. These include a stutter, auto-filter, delay and gate. The company says all of them are "fully tweakable" and routable, and the pads that control them have new, animated graphics to help you perform with them. Launchpad For iOS is now available as a free download, with Stutter, Autofilter and Gater FX priced at $2.99 per effect and Delay FX priced at $4.99.
