RA hits SXSW 2015 with Total Freedom, The Horrorist and SOPHIE

- The lineup for the third Resident Advisor showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas, has been confirmed. It'll take place on Wednesday, March 18th at the two-floor, 650-capacity Vulcan Gas Company, a venue kitted out with Funktion-One sound and steampunk-inspired decor. The lineup is stacked with fresh, boundary-pushing talent: Arca collaborator and Fade To Mind member Total Freedom will DJ—this will be his only performance at SXSW 2015—as will PC Music head A. G. Cook (who will play with a special guest), Software signing Suicideyear, rising Jersey club artist UNiiQU3, Mad Decent affiliate Alfred English and #FEELINGS label boss Ben Aqua, who turned in a memorable RA Podcast in 2014. UK favourites Untold and Tessela are locked in for a back-to-back set. Live performances come from Numbers star SOPHIE, cult hardcore techno artist The Horrorist (his live show is not to be missed) and Breaking Through alumni Bob Moses. We suggest getting down early for this one. The party begins at 7:30 PM and runs through until 2 AM. It will be open to anyone with SXSW accreditation, music festival wristband or artist wristband. There will also be some tickets on the door.
