- The Rinse boss has two new tracks coming out on March 30th.
Geeneus has announced details of his first new music since 2008.
In the past half-decade or so, Gordon Warren has turned his attention to Rinse FM, the London radio station and label that he runs. He's also been a close collaborator and mentor to pop star Katy B. That's meant his solo output has mostly dried up in the time since the release of his last solo EP for Keysound and his Volumes: One compilation, both of which came out in 2008 (aside from his 2010 cover of Inner City's "Good Life" with Katy B).
Now, following a brush with the past revisiting his grime-focused Wizzbit alias on last winter's series of SoundCloud uploads, he's returning to the present with a new two-tracker. You can stream "ELE"—a house track that "draws on grime's essence," according to the label—below, while flipside "Red Velvet" will come later.
