  • George FitzGerald is gearing up to release his first-ever LP, Fading Love. A UK-born DJ and producer who now lives in Berlin, FitzGerald's mix of bass and house music has earned him appearances on labels like Hotflush, Hypercolour and Aus Music. (He also runs his own imprint, ManMakeMusic.) More recently, he's connected with indie giant Domino and its sublabel Double Six Records, which is where Fading Love will be issued. The album, recorded in both London and Berlin, looks to offer less floor-focused fare, and according to a press release, its name sums up FitzGerald's inspirations: "the disintegration of a romantic relationship" and a "dwindling enthusiasm for music that so blindly ignored the more complicated realities of his own life." Comprising ten songs, all of which come in at under five minutes in length and feature vocal contributions from Oli Bayston (of the indie rock band Boxed In) and Lawrence Hart, Fading Love will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats. You can hear lead single "Full Circle" below.
