  • Pharmakon will head to Oberlin, Ohio this Friday for a concert with Aaron Dilloway. The event will happen at Oberlin College's on-campus bar, The 'Sco, and it'll be presented by the school's Student Union Programming Committee. Just last week they brought French Fries and TX Connect to town, but this show will likely be a little more intense. Pharmakon, AKA New York noise artist Margaret Chardiet, whose second album Bestial Burden came out last October, is the out-of-town guest. Representing the other half of the program is Dilloway, the locally based experimental veteran, former Wolf Eyes member and mind behind the Hanson Records label and shop. (His 2012 LP Modern Jester earned a 4.5/5 RA review.) As usual, the concert is open to the public, and Oberlin students get a discount on admission.
