  • The first round of artists have been announced for Rainbow Disco Club 2015 in Japan. The annual springtime festival has gained international recognition since its genesis back in 2010, boosted by their debut compilation, Rainbow Disco Club Vol. 1 mixed by Prins Thomas, which was released mid-way through last year. 2015 represents a big shift for the event, as organisers will be moving RDC from its usual home of Harumi Port Terminal in Tokyo to Higashi Izu Cross Country Course in Shuzuoka. Not only that, but the festival will be held across three days, May 2nd through 4th, and will bring camping into the mix. With news of the venue change comes the announcement of the first half a dozen acts. Canadian troupe The Modern Deep Left Quartet (comprising Matthew Jonson, The Mole, Danuel Tate and Tyger Dhula) and the Rush Hour Allstars (Antal, San Proper and Young Marco) head up the bill, with Ata, Tim Sweeney, Session Victim and local RDC regular Sisi also booked. More names will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
