- The Berlin producer is back on Kompakt for his latest LP, out in April.
Kompakt will release Dave DK's Val Maira on April 27th.
The longtime member of Sasse's Moodmusic label emerged on Kompakt with the Palmaille EP in 2013. Val Maira is his third LP, and Kompakt say the album is "named after a valley in the Italian mountains and goes beyond admittedly impressive production skills, aiming for deeply personal expressiveness and emotional impact."
In anticipation of the new record, Kraseman has shared album track "Halma." He spoke to Fader about the track's genesis: "I started the 'Halma' track last year while I was surfing in Costa Rica and finished it in summer on the German countryside where I grew up. In the introduction, you can hear the Kompakt crew on stage. It was recorded after their yearly Sonar event at Nitsa Club in Barcelona... Everywhere I played it, I felt happiness in the crowd."
