- The Portuguese label has announced its next two records, both landing February 24th.
Príncipe has records from C.D.M. and Nidia Minaj coming out on February 24th.
C.D.M. is the project of DJ Lilocox and DJ Maboku, two Lisbon DJs who regularly spin back-to-back sets at Príncipe's monthly Musicbox residency. Their record, Malucos de Raiz, clocks in at seven tracks and combines elements of house and African genres like tarraxo and batida. Minaj, meanwhile, spent her early years in Lisbon before moving to Bordeaux. Danger marks her debut physical release and it sees her fleshing out a percussive take on house and tarraxo. Both releases will arrive on digital and vinyl formats.
