- The UK producer will drop his debut album through Osiris Music next month.
Killawatt will release émigré on February 23rd.
Matthew Watt has spent the last five years moving from his original dubstep sound into deeper techno territory, releasing over 25 EPs for labels like Tempa, Black Box and Osiris Music UK, which will handle this debut album as well. émigré takes Watt's journey even further into experimental territory—the producer himself says "most of the tracks on the LP were experiments in things like granular synthesis and weird sample processing that were never intended to become finished pieces." He'll also be touring a new live audiovisual set following the release of émigré. Watch the video for "Pressgang" below.
