Andrés spends Valentine's Day in Oakland

- The La Vida boss will spin a lover's day set for The Shuffle Co-Op.
- Mahogani Music second-in-command Andrés will play in Oakland on Valentine's Day, February 14th. The Detroit house and hip-hop don has remained relatively quiet on the release front since 2012, the year he pressed up his breakthrough New For U single to kick off the La Vida imprint. (RA would elect that track the number one single of the year.) Since then, Andrés has completed remix work for everyone from Mr. Scruff to Romanthony, and we expect news on La Vida 003 (and a new album) soon. The Shuffle Co-Op emerged on the Oakland scene last year, having since presented strong bookings like Mike Huckaby, Nicuri and Phil Moffa. For the party on the 14th, they'll collaborate with fellow Bay Area crew Lips & Rhythm. Residents from both groups will open the show, which will happen at a TBA underground location.
