Awakenings Festival announces 2015 lineup

- Over 100 acts have been billed for this year's Awakenings Festival, taking place at Spaarnwoude Houtra on June 27th and 28th. Awakenings is one of techno's best-known brands. The outfit host several parties across Europe annually, but Awakenings Festival is their main event. Each year, dozens of top-tier artists are booked for a huge outdoor session just outside of Amsterdam, which was last year extended to two days. This time around, the action will again take place across Saturday and Sunday, beginning at noon and wrapping up at 11 PM on both days. Eight stages will be in action this year, featuring heavyweights like Sven Väth, Carl Craig and Richie Hawtin. A hefty Berlin contingent includes Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd, Ryan Elliott and Recondite, while Joris Voorn, Speedy J and Sandrien are highlights among the homegrown acts. Live sets will come from Karenn, Shifted and more, while Ricardo Villalobos, Maya Jane Coles and Tale Of Us will likely spin more house-focussed fare.
