  • Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein has completed work on his debut album, Apophenia. The 11-track LP will be the first full-length on Watergate Records, the label arm of the Berlin club. Up until now, the imprint has focussed on a mix CD series (which has just hit 17 instalments) and 12-inches, with contributions from Solomun, Ellen Allien and Tiefschwarz among the best-known releases. Apophenia, which Hagelstein's album gets its title from, is a psychiatry term referring to the perception of patterns where none exist. The record features guest spots from artists like PillowTalk and Mentrix, and will be released on vinyl and digital formats on March 30th. A 12-inch collecting remixes of "Soul Dynamic" by Kenny Larkin, Fur Coat and Douglas Greed drops on March 16th. Tracklist 01. Footprints feat. C.A.R. 02. Life Is A Beach 03. Already Undone feat.
