  • The 2015 edition of Primavera Sound will run from May 27th through the 30th in Barcelona. The festival, which leans primarily towards high-profile rock and indie programming, will also host a wide array of electronic acts this year. In addition to headlining bands like Caribou, Patti Smith, Sleater-Kinney, The Replacements and The Strokes, the festival's four-day program touches on leftfield hip-hop (Shabazz Palaces, Tyler, The Creator), extreme music (Einstürzende Neubauten, Pharmakon) and the house and techno continuum (Richie Hawtin, Simian Mobile Disco). Additional highlights include sets from Andrew Weatherall, Gui Boratto, James Blake, Kelela, Sunn O))) and Roman Flügel on the 28th, as well as Dixon, Earth and The Juan Maclean on the 29th and Dan Deacon, Health, Mike Simonetti and Twin Shadow on the 30th. The Primavera lineup was revealed by way of a three-minute animation you can watch below.
