Helena Hauff will drop a cassette in February.
Over the past two years, the Hamburg DJ and Golden Pudel resident has established herself as a powerful new force in techno, both behind the decks and as a producer. She's released a handful of tracks for labels like Werk Discs, Lux Rec and Panzerkreuz, and collaborated with F#x as Black Sites for PAN. Her latestt takes her to Texas label Handmade Birds, for the newest edition of their Handmade Beats series, according to FACT.
A Tape is Hauff's first full-length release, but not her first foray into the cassette format—she had a mix on Blackest Ever Black sub-label Krokodilo Tapes back in 2013. There's not much in the way of details yet, but you can listen to a track below (and another here.
Handmade Birds will release A Tape in February 2015.
