- They'll play the third installment of the Tinnitus Music Series early next month.
The Tinnitus Music Series will host Vessel and Container at The Wick in Bushwick on February 4th.
The event is presented by Pitchfork's Show No Mercy column—helmed by managing editor Brandon Stosuy—in collaboration with heavyweight local promoters Blackened Music and MeanRed.
Intended as a showcase for cutting edge "composers of extreme sound," Pitchfork says, the series has featured artists as diverse as Julianna Barwick, Ben Frost and Tim Hecker. The third edition will bring together two producers, Bristol-based Vessel and Providence, RI-based Container, who are known for exploring the outer reaches of noise and industrial-tinged techno.
