  • Seattle's under-the-radar High & Tight party will celebrate four years in existence with sets from Regis and Silent Servant on February 7th. The RSVP-only affair is influenced by David Mancuso's seminal gathering The Lof., but many lineups feature styles much heavier than typical loft classics. Over the years, High & Tight has hosted Anthony Parasole, Voices From The Lake and recently, Daniel Avery. (The adjacent photo shows the venue decked out for an appearance by Omar-S.) The four-year bash will be headlined by Downwards boss Regis, who will play a live set of industrial techno. His former Sandwell District partner Silent Servant, AKA Juan Mendez, will travel up from LA. He's the only artist booked for a DJ set. Rounding up the lineup are two hard-edged Canadian techno acts, The Automatic Message and Kafka. Check out scenes from past parties below.
