- The BC label's latest album, Aeterna, comes from the Belgium-based producer otherwise known as Damaskin.
Seraphim Rytm, AKA Damaskin, will release an album called Aeterna on February 10th.
Hailing from Belgium, Seraphim Rytm is the latest signing to the Courtenay, British Columbia-based Silent Season, which is known for its lush take on dub techno along with its nature-focused artwork and environmentally-friendly packaging.
Silent Season says that Seraphim Rytm "surfaced only for a moment to share these nine supernatural versions... and today remains largely hidden in the Aeterna Mountain Forest." You might recognize his other alias, Damaskin, from appearances on Concrete and Unknown Precept, where he explored a harsher sound than the more ambient-leaning material on Aeterna.
