- Rødhåd, Factory Floor and Roman Flügel have all contributed to the Phantasy Sound artist's two-disc remix compilation.
A two-disc collection featuring remixes of Daniel Avery will come out through Phantasy Sound in March.
Most of the remixed tracks appeared on Avery's debut album, Drone Logic, which landed in October 2013. Since then the London DJ and producer has started Divided Love, a roving residency that's set up shop in Rex Club in Paris, Le Sucre in Lyon and fabric in London.
New Energy pulls together some previously released remixes as well as plenty of new ones. There's a hefty dose of techno across the two discs—Ø [Phase], Silent Servant, Rødhåd, Conforce, Perc and Audion all contribute—while efforts from Factory Floor, Roman Flügel, KiNK, Powell, Special Request and Danny Daze broaden the scope of the package. Phantasy Sound chief Erol Alkan has teamed up with Richard Norris for a Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve "Re-Animation" of "New Energy" to round out CD 1.
New Energy will see release on CD and digital formats. A 12-inch vinyl release with remixes from Rødhåd, Silent Servant and Volte-Face is due to land this month.
