  • A couple rare records from Icelandic artist Exos will soon be getting the reissue treatment. Exos is a longtime underground favorite who's brought his deep and dubby take on techno to labels like Force Inc., Mosaic and Thule (along with Nina Kraviz's recently-launched трип). He was a regular on Thule when it was active from the late '90s into the early '00s, and among his efforts for the label back then were the 1999 EP Q-Box, and My Home Is Sonic, an album released two years later on the Æ Recordings offshoot. Both are rare and expensive finds on wax these days, and both look to be re-released next month. A remastered version of Q-Box will come through Thule, which was opened again in 2013 to put out select back-catalog reissues. (It's worth pointing out Strobelight Network, set up last year to release new music from Thule artists, though so far only one record has come from it.) Meanwhile, Dutch institution Delsin is handling the re-release of My Home Is Sonic, according to a Facebook post from Exos, though further details are still TBA. For now, you can try out samples for the Q-Box reissue below.
