K-Hand and Jack Murphy team up in San Francisco

- The Detroit vet will play the Sure Thing party with the Bay Area newcomer at the end of the month.
- San Francisco series Sure Thing will host K-Hand and Jack Murphy at Underground SF on January 31st. Though she's been active as a DJ since the '80s and has released albums on Tresor and !K7, K. Hand, AKA Kelli Hand remains a somewhat underground presence within the Detroit scene. That said, in the past couple years, her tracks have featured on some rather high profile mixes from the Ostgut Ton camp—"Clap Yo Hands" appeared on Ryan Elliot's Panorama Bar 06 mix, while Ben Klock included her on fabric 66. Jack Murphy lives in San Francisco and has released a few EPs on Reference and Don't Be Afraid since 2013. He'll act as support along with Sure Thing organizer Aaron J. The crew are also presenting a Cititrax showcase this month.
