- The German artist will release her second EP on the label in early 2015.
Virginia has a new 12-inch on the way for Ostgut Ton, dropping on January 26th.
The three-track My Fantasy EP follows 2013's Loch & Hill, her only other solo outing on the Berghain-run label (she also worked alongside Steffi on both her Ostgut LPs). Apart from the title track, which was originally composed around the time of her first EP, vocals do not feature. "It’s important to me to be recognized and taken seriously as a producer, not just as the singer who also DJs," she says. "Of course I'm not abandoning vocals just to present straight instrumentals, so there wasn't any intention behind the use of very few voices on this 12-inch."
Virginia also revealed she has an album coming on Ostgut Ton in late 2015. My Fantasy will arrives on vinyl and digital formats.
