  • A new label called Utopia Records is reissuing Manabu Nagayama and Soichi Terada's 1991 house cut "Low Tension." The track first came out on the La Ronde EP through BPM Records Japan. It's been remastered for a fresh release by Utopia, a label run by Alexander Bradley in partnership with Phonica Records. In addition to the original cut, the 12-inch is backed by reworks from Bradley and Japanese producer Yukihiro Fukutomi. The release comes at a time of renewed interest in the work of Terada—Rush Hour this week released a Hunee-curated compilation of Japanese record label Far East Recording that included an alternative version of "Low Tension." Listen to clips of all three tracks from Low Tension below.
