The Pittsburgh afterhours club has made its initial 2015 lineup announcement.
Hot Mass, the weekly all-nighter which takes place in a Pittsburgh bathhouse, will kick off its 2015 season with an appearance from Prosumer on January 3rd.
Since we last checked in with the club, the Strip District nightspot has expanded, hosted Theo Parrish & Danny Wang and welcomed Tomas C., formerly of Miami's Electric Pickle, to the residents' fold. (The full list of 2014 bookings are in the image to the right.)
Prosumer will play gay night Honcho, marking his second appearance at Hot Mass. Other early year highlights include 100% Silk house head Magic Touch on January 17th, Smart Bar boss The Black Madonna back-to-back with Chicago expat Zernell on January 24th and Metro Area spinning on January 31st.
February 7th has Bunker resident Mike Servito bringing the midwest acid sound back to Pittsburgh, followed by another Detroit son, BMG, playing the next week. On February 21st, Sound Signature artist Specter will headline Pittsburgh Track Authority's residency, the club's winter schedule acting as an informal showcase for American talent.
Continuing on that theme, Ghostly and Cocktail D'Amore-affiliated artist Jeffrey Sfire is booked for Honcho on March 7th. On March 14th, Daniel Bell will throw down a marathon seven-hour set, following his February 2014 visit to Hot Mass. Berlin wunderkind Max Graef is booked for the 28th.
