  • Morphine Records have prepared an EP featuring Senyawa as interpreted by Charles Cohen. Senyawa (pictured) are an Indonesian hardcore band that have signed to the German label for an album called Menjadi, which is due out sometime next year. Ahead of that release, Morphosis' label is offering up a 12-inch that features the group's "Di Kala Sudah" as "replayed" by synth pioneer Cohen (who himself was the subject of a comprehensive reissue campaign over the past two years by Morphine). According to the press release, "Cohen conducted a ritual-esque and tonal re-adaptation—flushing the song through layers of spaced out orchestrated groove." On the other side, there's a new version of Cohen's "Conundrums" by Robert Turman. Senyawa will play a rare European show at CTM Festival in January, joining the likes of Evian Christ, Yung Lean and Electric Wizard. Tracklist A Senyawa - Di Kala Sudah (Replayed By Charles Cohen) B Charles Cohen - Conundrums (Robert Turman Version) Morphine Records will release Di Kala Sudah sometime soon.
