  • Adrian Sherwood and Pinch have an album called Late Night Endless on the way. Late Night Endless is the fruit of a two-year partnership between the two producers. Sherwood is a dub legend known for helping to pioneer the remix format as well as his prolific On-U Sound label, while Pinch—real name Rob Ellis—was an instrumental force in early dubstep and remains one of the scene's most prominent figures. The duo released their first two singles, Bring Me Weed and Music Killer, back in 2013 (as well as premiering a live show), and Late Night Endless follows more than a year later. A joint release between Pinch's Tectonic and On-U Sound, the LP incorporates (and deconstructs) material from Sherwood's entire career—including bits and pieces of his previous work with vocalists like Lee "Scratch" Perry, Prince Far I and Daddy Freddy, along with instrumentation from Skip McDonald. The press release describes it as a complete fusion of the two artists, touching on "the urban swing of UK garage" and "interstellar '90s ambient dub." You can listen to "Africa 138" below.
