- The Cologne DJ will make her production debut on Cómeme in January 2015.
Lena Willikens will release her first record, Phantom Delia, via Cómeme on January 12th, 2015.
Willikens has earned a reputation as an adventurous selector. As well as holding down a residency at Salons Des Amateurs in Düsseldorf, she hosts a monthly show called Sentimental Flashback on Cómeme radio. (She also put together an RA Podcast earlier this year.) It's Cómeme that is releasing Willikens's first record, a six-track EP landing on vinyl and digital formats next month. Co-produced with Cómeme founder Matias Aguayo, Phantom Delia contains a titular nod to pioneering electronic musician Delia Derbyshire. In keeping with Willikens's DJ style, the productions dive into the more peculiar end of dance music.
